Eggettes is a classic spot on El Camino to grab some boba and eggettes with the crew and just kinda chill for a bit.
Here they have a couple of varieties of eggettes of which I find their original to be the most appetizing. It comes out fresh, hot, and good. Good old eggettes done right. They got some other snacks here too like curry fish balls and imitation fin soup which are all pretty average but good enough to just casually enjoy. All the drinks here are pretty alright as well. I'd put them somewhere between Quickly's and [insert trendy SF boba spot here] in terms of boba drinks quality. The real reason to come here is really because the place is just kinda poppin and it's just nice to casually chill here while tearing off a piece of that delicious eggette. -

Eggettes!!
Got a lychee green tea drink as well as a coconut egg waffle.
Pleasantly surprised that the drink had fresh lychee pieces in it (though because of that I don't recommend adding boba to the drink). Drink tasted a bit watered down though and I wished that there was tad bit more sweetness and green tea in it.
The coconut egg waffle: the ultimate car snack lol though don't need to get the coconut flavored one because it seems like they simply add some coconut flakes to their OG egg waffle batter (aka the coconut flavor wasn't really strong). The available flavors are OG, coconut, and chocolate. I was kinda in a rush to go somewhere else but still wanted to drop by here for a drink/snack. The egg waffle was super easy to eat in the car as the waffle is easily tearable into bite-sized pieces. Love the exterior light crispiness to each piece. Definitely was a pick-me-up in terms of coping with the drive to central SF.
Street parking right outside of the place, but there's also a parking lot right around the corner. -

I came in and ordered my usuals, blueberry freeze and hot honey green tea.
Looked at my receipt and they charged me 1$ more per drink, "because thats the only size now", also, extra charge to make my tea hot.....
i wouldnt be so annoyed if they were transparent, but the guy just snuck it in.
Btw, the sizes are not larger either, just in a less wide but taller cup, basically the volume is the same its just an optical mosconception.
-_- frustrating. -

This is my second visit to this Eggettes, and had a much better eggette. Yum!
Eggettes is pure Hong Kong style. Frankly, there shouldn't be anything else as no other region has a similar egg shaped waffle. The original is a vanilla flavor. Growing up, it was the only one I know. This location also has chocolate or melon flavor. I think I will always favor the original the most. The perfect HK style egg waffle is chewy on the inside and a good crunch on the outside. Eggettes has perfected this.
Fish Shui Mei - This treat is a steamed savory snack, sold in a skewer in HK. There's 6 pieces per order. This one is a bit too chewy. It should be a bit more plumb. Their soy sauce mix is excellent though! -

This place has nice presentation. I reserved my order "to go" in a nice package.
The waffle is really good. I got both original and chocolate. Their lychee milk tea boba has actual lychee piece in it. I was surprised. The boba has good texture and a nice bite to it. The boba is also sweet but not too sweet. We got fish balls and crispy chicken pieces. They are pretty good too, give it a try.
I would come back when I'm back in town.
